Across The String

A bit short of images today. I went a walk out of Kirkwall to the Head of Work. I walked to Work and back! Heavy showers with gale force winds driving them.  The shot gives and idea of how it was. I was able to find sheltered spot out of the wind for my coffee, though. I was looking for hares, hoping to see them 'boxing' but no luck. A field had 5 hares but they were far-off and huddled down. This shot is north across the stretch of sea between Mainland and Shapinsay called The String. Just visible is Balfour Castle
