Choir Rehearsal

Back Blipped for 16th February 

This is Excelsior per cantum, the Heriot-Watt chamber choir, rehearsing before the concert in St Giles on Sunday, followed by the big choir, Chorale Excelsior, which Mr Flum and I joined a mere four practices ago.

Relying on existing members to show us the what, when and where in this unfamiliar venue, we gave our best to the large audience, which appreciated so much that they applauded one item even before we had finished. Our programe consisted of five different arrangements of Ave Maria; these are now going round my head like a confused earworm - not to worry, it will shortly be replaced by John Rutter's Requiem, to be performed on 17th May.
