Cross at the Cross

There’s probably a word in German for that feeling when you go to a cyclocross race fully prepared, having laid everything out the night before, got up in plenty time, picked up your passengers en route who were all-ready and waiting for you, get to the venue in plenty time to sign on and get a couple of practice laps in, and then realise you’ve left your cycling shoes by the back door at home. In English I think the phrase is, “Aaaaaaagh! You #*$%ing idiot!”.

However, Always an education to watch Craig Hardie race (in the red in the extras), but boy did it click for him at Rouken.aAbsolute masterclass.
