Whin, gorse or furze.

Either way, it’s flowering. There is a saying that goes “kissing's out of fashion when the gorse is out of blossom”. I am pleased to confirm that the whin here is well and truly blooming!
A day of very mixed weather; bright sun one minute then a vicious hail/sleet shower all still driven by a very chilling breeze.
