Coniston

Coniston has a real draw for me, I’m not really sure why, maybe it’s because we used to come here on school camp, or maybe because this is the last place in the lakes that I came with Ian. Maybe it’s Donald and his speed records. Anyway I love it.
So we planned a walk around the copper mines. There is a lot of industry up here so it is fascinating to a nerd like me. Shame the weather was quite so shocking. Even my pants were wet!

Back to the house for a shower then out to the pub.
