The dead centre of town

We had been dying to organise this visit! A tour of Undercliffe Cemetery in Bradford - a very interesting tour with a very knowledgable guide. It opened in 1854 and was the final resting place for many of Bradford’s wealthy and notable inhabitants. The very many extravagant mausoleums and monuments illustrate Bradford’s Victorian importance, although the other side of the town is there with thousands of paupers graves over the walls.
A great day out with the augmented BPWs, we were joined by ValC and Midgehole Dave and Bezzie Pet.
Refreshments were enjoyed in the cafe at St George’s Hall in Bradford, where they were happy to have us despite our moving all the furniture around as is our wont
