No hands

Today, the hands of the Martini tower clocks were literally taken down. They didn't function properly anymore and now the hands and clocks will be restored to full working order. Coverage in the local media.

During our lunch walk, we walked past the tower and with the gorgeous light and a bit of under-exposure I knew something beautiful could happen. Until the family in the foreground suddenly stepped into the frame, of course... Still, a good image of the day and one to mark the start of repairing the hands, the clocks and the lights on the clocks. It will take until early May for it to be finished. Until then, looking at the tower won't tell you what time it is.
