Waste not want not

Living in a boat you need fuel for the stove. We burn wood during the day but the only way the fire will stay lit overnight is to burn smokeless fuel. At the moment CRT are cutting back any overhanging trees and they kindly leave the larger logs on the side of the towpath for us boaters. Of course you can't burn this straight away because it needs to be seasoned but, after spending a long and sunny (fingers crossed) Spring & Summer drying on our roof, hopefully it will be stove ready for next Winter.
