The gateway to the waterfront

We did a lot of planning today. We got out the New Zealand Map and properly looked at where we should go. Then we went to explore the waterfront area and found the information centre down there, so we picked up a ton more leaflets on where to go and we bought a driving map of New Zealand too. The map also notes the filming locations used by Lord of the Rings and the bit of the film that was there- so Sam is happy. This evening I made Sam watch Singing in the Rain as he had never seen it before! Later on we called Gramps using our NZ SIM card, which was really nice. The line was really clear as well.
