Homo erectus erectus

Today we had Paleoanthropology as the days topic. For that we went into the Senckenberg museum Frankfurt.
Afterwards we were behind the scenes where the researchers work.
There they opened a big safe and pulled out real skulls, teeth and other fossils from Homo erectus erectus or known as Java Man.
Those 1 million year old fossils and other fossils from different hominidae species were explained and "touchable".
As an example are the notches on the inside of the skull places for veins/ateries which where a cooling mechanism for the brain.
The second Blip is a picture of a real baby human skeleton.
Looks kinda like an alien.
For me it was very strange to see but interesting as well.
