Wiesbaden In Bloom

It's also the first day of Karneval.  It's Weiberfastnacht today, when women are tradionally allowed to cut the tie off any man and there's also a lot of storming the town hall going on.  

And as one of those cultural differences that I notice, my company allows people to come to work in fancy dress (during Karneval not for the whole year).  For some reason red pork-pie hats with sequins are popular this year.  I'm not wearing one.

After work I met up with my pal B for a wander and a blether.  And now home for a quiet night.
