Workington Harbour

There was an interesting looking sky as the sun was setting and I came out for the first time this year in a bit of daylight so I bowled down to the Harbour as hail showers were sweeping through.

As I headed in this morning I wasn’t at all convinced I’d be making it home in the evening. The floodplain of the Derwent was full and Bassenthwaite had risen up to meet the A66 but it had thankfully stopped for a bit although the wind had got up again.

A marginally (relatively and tonally) less overwhelming day than the last few.
