Not another tree in the snow scene? - afraid so!

Its odd isn't it? We were all so excited about the snow a few days ago and I really love snow but now it would be nice not to take yet another snow scene. Anyway, today I've failed as this is yet another snow scene.

This very old oak is a feature of our village and still stands despite vandalism by several generations of kids. Some years ago, someone tried to set fire to it and the far side still shows fire damage to this day.

It's really difficult to photograph as there are a number of power lines that tend to creep into the picture but a bit of Photoshoppery has got rid of them. For those who like "spot the ball" competitions - here is the answer with the power lines showing

The day started off looking as if the sun would come out but now a misty recession is the best thing on offer.
