Oh My Days!

The little one with the red roof

A leisurely ease in to the day, then a most pleasant walk from Robin Hood's Bay to Boggle Hole along the Cleveland way.  The cliff erosion along the way is sad to see, but there are notices to say that it's being worked on to address.  From the clifftops you get a lovely view of Robin Hood's Bay, and here you can just about see our lovely little holiday cottage.  It's the little one facing sideways, behind the white one at the front!  You can see the 2 yellow bouys at the end of the garden.  Considering how on top of each other the cottages are, the little cottage and garden are really wonderfully quiet and private....and oh that real fire!!!
A most delicious bacon bap partaken outside at Boggle Hole, and with the weather remaining fine, we soldiered along the Cleveland way to Ravenscar.  A blustery and boggy walk, just about Chino's limit in length, and bless him he was up to his armpits in mud at several points, but gosh it was lovely.  A bus trip back, so windy that the wind kept blowing the doors open....then oops we found ourselves in The Bay Hotel again, watching the wind blow the waves whilst we savoured refreshments.  Fish and chips Friday....not that I like fish, but the chips were mighty fine.....and now movie night before we pack up for home tomorrow.  What a most lovely week we've had....with hardly a raindrop!
(Fieldside Cottage if anyone fancies a break in RHB, I can highly recommend it!)
