Birthday and Opera

We took Elbow’s mother to see a double bill of opera favourites; Trial by Jury by Gilbert & Sullivan and Pagliacci by Leoncavallo.

The former was easier and lighter but both were brilliantly done. HatBox joined us. I’m not sure she’s quite taken to opera just yet.
