Storm with no name!

In Scotland “Ciara “ was a damp squib and “Dennis” packed a punch. In contrast the storm that raged for the last 36 hours was the real thing: it was the number one item on BBC Scotland news; we had hours of hurricane force winds and rain; road, rail and ferry transport was disrupted (and still is) and many areas are flooded. However this storm had no name. Could it be that the Scottish have a chip on their shoulders when the question whether the reason for this is that the storm was not a major event as far as England is concerned? Another example of Scotland being ignored?
