Bridge to Nowhere

A relatively new (and very expensive) housing development nearby has several sculptures and creative features in the landscaping. This ornamental pond with chinese pavilion and footbridge is one of them.
The area is designed as a visual treat and not as a useful space, in fact there is a railing round the area and there is no footpath connecting to the bridge.
