Pre decimal

A rather blustery drive up to Mum and Dad’s today. I think mum has been doing some sorting as she found a tin of old coins. The half crown was taken out of circulation in 1970. The florin, or two shillings coin was circulated alongside the new 10p piece for sometime after Decimal Day, 15 February 1971
