Temple of Bars

Up early for breakfast, and off to TallGirl’s exam (medical school entrance exam). I then had the morning to wander idly through shops, big buildings and the sunny streets.

Popping into a camera shop to replace my lost camera charger was always going to be a dangerous business, and sure enough a ‘making conversation’ question about an 85mm lens led to a second hand version of it coming home with me. Perhaps it will inspire me to be a better blipper?

Once TallGirl was done, late lunch in a pub while she recovered her equilibrium, and on to book shops and kitchen supply shops back to the hotel for a rest.

In fact, the planned early evening walk was binned in favour of a quick dash to a sweet shop, where this shot of the gathering revelries was taken, and home for TallGirl’s first (that she remembers) room service. Early start tomorrow.
