'Restoring mobility on board the Lifeline Express'

A surgeon on board IMPACT's Lifeline Express hospital train in India prepares to operate on a child with Clubfoot.

The Lifeline Express travels to stations in remote Indian districts to provide quality medical care to the very poorest people. Project areas are chosen because they lack hospitals and sometimes even basic health facilities so this 'magic train' really is a lifeline to the people who come in the hope of treatment.
