BALI DAY 4

Day tour.....so much happened today but I loved this the most!!! The Bali swing over the rice terraces...it was high!!!

Our driver met us after breakfast for our half day tour. We told him what we wanted to see but left things in his hands as he’s the expert!! For an extra £4 each we could have a day tour...agreed.
He took us to a Bali dance; very interesting if a bit confusing with the storyline!! Then onto a silver workshop where The Rev persuaded me to purchase some lovely earrings. Just supporting local businesses you understand.
Then onto the Tegennungan Waterfall...200 steps down...so tempting to dip but all the rainfall meant it was very muddy!! So we climbed up the other side to a bar with a pool. We enjoyed a drink and a much needed dip in a cool pool. However this meant we had to climb down and back up again.....exhausting!!
Then onto the rice terraces which were fascinating and where I braved the Bali swing....great fun. He then took us to a coffee plantation where we tried 10 different coffees and tea including cat-poo-cino!!! Google it!!!.
Lastly we visited a temple where I changed into a dipping sarong and joined others in the ceremony in holy water....praying for myself, family and friends’ health and prosperity.
An amazing day finished off with a taster menu meal at a local restaurant and entertainment.
