Clearing (Day 1753)

A late start, and after the morning woofer wander, I had a lazy morning. I kept an eye on the weather, and headed out to Wasdale when the weather looked to be improving just before lunchtime.
Despite a cold wind, it was a reasonable walk and we stayed dry. When the wind dropped occasionally, the sunshine felt warm.
Back at home for lunch, then an afternoon watching the rugby on TV.
This evening, much to the relief of my beautiful wife and me, the wind has dropped away to nothing and the forecast for the next week looks much better.
