Morris and cornbread!

Last weekend M. had a friend stay for a night who now lives in the US. We ended up talking cornbread, and I found a recipe in the guardian to try. See extra for the result.
Taste was a little more grainy and less sweet than I recalled, but it went very well with the slow cooked chilli I put on to simmer before the rugby.
