Custom Papel Picado

Considered a folk art in Mexico, papel picado banners are everywhere, especially during holiday time. They have long been a favorite subject of mine due to their color and design. Traditionally made from tissue paper, this custom designed version at El Tiburon de la Costa restaurant were produced from plastic for longer life.
