Getting the sparkle back

Shepherd House Garden

T and I visited this garden in Inveresk village near Musselburgh for the first time, mostly to see the snowdrops. It has to be said that it probably wasn't the best year for these as the owners freely admitted - the mild winter gave the snowdrops an early start and since then they've been suffering from the wind and rain as more or less everything else has. I’ve blipped an urn with violas rather than snowdrops, partly to celebrate the sun which was very welcome despite it still being quite breezy.
