On lookout duty

Although I took some lovely photos of Arthur's Seat covered in snow today, in the end I chose this picture of crows on their snowy perch. I like the starkness of the image.
This is taken in the nursery garden. The freshly fallen snow was covered in large crow footprints, which was of interest to the children.
