TAX1

Jon’s getting his wisdom teeth extracted today. We were on a very early ferry. Jon spotted this taxi as we queued up, I’m glad he gets excited about these things the way I do :).

We was VERY VERY VERY nervous and feared he might not be able to get through it. Felt a little better when the dentist came in and took the CT scan and showed him exactly what he was going to do. Jon had already watched a few YouTube videos and was well aware of what he was going to do. Also, we had gone in thinking that he would only extract the bottom two but the surgeon said all four had to come out. Needless to say Jon was really freaking out by this stage!!!!!

Oh man, I was sat outside and heard it all. Jon was screaming at one stage. They called me when it was over and I went in to see a very frazzled, swollen, shaking Jon. Poor thing. I had tears. He was very brave.

We did stay there for a long time after to make sure Jon was absolutely fine before we left. He managed to pull himself together and when we left there, he felt quite good, well enough to run an errand to Causeway Bay before catching the ferry back to DB.

Mike and Sharon came over when we got home and we had a lovely catch up and saw their Dubai photos. They were the kind couriers of all the supplies Gadgetkid and Geraldine sent from Dubai.

Jon had gone to bed and passed out, which was probably a good thing.

The evening was spent caring for him and making sure he was as pain free as possible.
