Mono Monday

We woke up to a fairly bleak view this morning with a measurable depth of wet snow.  There might have been approaching 2 inches depth when it fell but the heavy rain compacted it into a slushy mess that had cleared by lunch time.  No sign of our dustbin men today so maybe the crew have been diverted onto snow clearing duties.  This was the scene looking down into our garden this morning.
