A very hungry caterpillar

No messing with this shot at all. The orange background is backing paper for a classroom wall. This very hungry caterpillar is part of the nature table in our year 1 class. Our maths teacher is a world renowned butterfly man and is currently taking a year off to count them in the area ( am sure its much more complicated than that but that's what it sounds like to us plebs) Anyway he has seen it as his job to educate the wee ones about the Monarch butterfly and other NZ butterflies, so in come the Swan plants and the pupae etc etc and soon we will be setting the butterflies free in the butterfly garden.
