Grubby's Blipfolio

By Grubby

Tiny but deadly to some.

Great to find the first of several Zebra Jumping Spiders that come into my conservatory every year. Some years there are more than others but I never fail to find one. Most times they are seen sunning themselves on the outside brickwork.
Zebra spiders are not harmful to humans. Because of their jumping behavior (they jump more than they walk,) they are often perceived as aggressive. However, this is their normal behavior, and they will not bite unless threatened or provoked.
