A day and a half

Took  one look at the weather and opted  not to go shopping.  OUr phone had an awful crackle on yesterday and it was impossible to hear anything.  Sooo I decided to get in touch with talktalk.  Lots of messages to do this and to that.  The last upshot was to open the junction box.  did that - no difference - only put the landline in did that no dial tone and no internet - joy.  Phoned up and booked an engineer only to have another text come back and no engineer was booked.  Tried again and finally managed to speak to somebody (they do exist) only to find the person I was first dealing with had closed his bit.  Can't do anything to 2.00 . ring then.. Rang and engineer booked for Wednesday
Afternoon wasn't much better - my Jubilee Hall accounts wouldn't balance - knew what it was but could I get it in to the spreadsheet .  NO.  Decided in  the end just to put the amount they should have paid and ignore the refund - that worked.  By this time it was 6.00 and KG was home from bowls.  A quick tea and then cleared up and looked for a blip and what I found was the telephone junction book hanging open. oh what a day.
