Pancake Day

The supermarket was reminding customers that it is pancake day today. I may be tempted to make us each a little pancake at teatime with sugar and lemon juice. My mouth is watering as I write! I suppose I should really have produced savoury pancakes for our lunch, but I wasn’t organised enough.
On my way back from shopping I stopped off at the car park overlooking the River Mole, where I took the picture of the flooded river last week. The river is still flowing fast, but it is back in its channel, just. (Extra photo) There appears to be a fallen tree causing an obstruction.
