Mixing it up.

This is what you get when you cross a home designer with a horticulturist. We were at Wisley RHS gardens which just happens to be on our way home from church. At today's service we were challenged to live a more simple life. In the south of England in the affluent western world this call is a real challenge. We are bombarded by advertisers seeking to convince us to fill our places with stuff. To replace not repair. To constantly upgrade rather than make do. So easy to be part of the consumer led, materialistic world. Supremely challenged.
Grateful today for colour in the flowers as spring emerges from the darkness, also that the rain that has brought floods to so many is on on the wain and also for a God who gives us sufficiently.
