The Edge of the Wold

Launch

Rowan is about to launch himself in anticipation of Sue launching a frisbee. It was another lunchtime walk along the River Kent, a pair of oystercatchers was at the weir (as they were a year ago), there were three little grebes, a pair of goosanders and a pair of goldeneyes.

Gus had gone to work with Wifie after our morning walk in the semi-darkness, he has adapted better than we could have hoped to the new routine.

It brightened up today at lunchtime, then in the afternoon we saw blue sky and sunshine for the first time in what felt like weeks. Alas, the forecast is for more grey tomorrow. We are all feeling deficient in Vitamin D.
