Good Morning

A couple of weeks’ worth of blips all in one day and so many nice pictures to choose from but I’ve opted for the Ducks for my main Blip. 
Morning:  There was a fabulous sunrise and the ducks were pleased to see me shortly after and greeted the bright morning noisily and with their usual enthusiasm.
 Breakfast was duck egg omelettes;   I’m not tossing pancakes tonight!  General house and cat duties attended to and followed by a nice leisurely morning catching up on Blip, bird watching through the kitchen window, then a walk locally. On the way back I went off piste to see the ducks on their pond, oooooops, slipped in the mud and I with camera went down.  My coat and trousers will wash but the camera had to have lots of TLC to clean it up.  Hope it hasn’t done too much damage.
 
Afternoon:  Took the opportunity of doing some washing but didn’t risk hanging it out which was a good choice as the weather took another turn for the worse, very cold with some heavy wintery showers.  All this happened when we were in Bromyard and we took shelter in the General Hardware and Greengrocery store.  The store had the most amazing range of wares and after a thorough browse and making a small purchase we got talking to the fascinating store owner.  We must have been in the store for over an hour and there was never a lull in the conversations and a myriad of topics covered.   We found his Father’s life story riveting and suggested he wrote a book, he said he already had that in mind, having written several passages for the local newspapers.
