Caught…

………..…….in Action

This female monarch butterfly was caught on camera laying eggs on the underside of a leaf on the swan plants in the garden this afternoon.

Yesterday and today we have seen the welcome sight of two butterflies flitting from plant to plant - along with the ever hungry and menacing paper wasps.

Hopefully the stems picked, each with at least one tiny white egg will produce a number of caterpillars to continue the monarch cycle.

Thank you for the lovely comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s iPad & snapseed photo. I’m pleased you liked the effect.
