Mae'r seremoni olaf y flwyddyn newydd oedd seremoni tân ar Bae Dwnrhefn. Roedd y tywydd yn stormus iawn gyda gwynt, glaw a chenllysg hefyd.  Yn y diwedd cliriodd y cymylau i ddatgelu awyr las a heulwen - ond roedd hi'n oer o hyd.  Bae Dwnrhefn (neu Southerndown) yn lle arbennig i ni. Mae'n garw, gwyllt a hardd. Rydyn ni wedi bod i lawr yna sawl gwaith.  Mae'n bron man pererindod.

The last ceremony of the new year was a fire ceremony on Dunraven Bay. The weather was very stormy with wind, rain and hail too. Eventually the clouds cleared to reveal blue skies and sunshine - but it was still cold. Dunraven (or Southerndown) is a special place for us. It's rugged, wild and beautiful. We’ve been down there many times. It's almost a place of pilgrimage.
