Warm welcome

It snowed early this morning. Nothing serious, just soggy flakes in the rain, so it didn’t settle. It wasn’t enough to put off my lunch party, but we were pleased to see this lovely log fire in the pub where we met. The restaurant kept it well replenished with logs, and it threw out a good heat. As usual the six of us had plenty talk about.
