Polar Ice

A little sleety first thing and jolly chilly.   Appropriate to see Iris reticulata 'Polar Ice' flowering in the cold frame at the old house.  It's a late flowering variant for me, all the others were at their best several weeks ago.   The sunshine from around lunchtime made up for the miserable start to the day.  

A little more sorting done and a load of things delivered to a charity shop.  Back to London this afternoon for a little time with my Mum before collecting Jamie on Saturday.  Just hope tomorrows rain does not mean we need a boat to get home to Wales.
