Through the Forest

Started the day walking from Pertisau through the forest in Tristenautal - under beautiful blue skies. From there we turned into Falzthurntal to repeat the walk we did on Saturday, climbing up to Falzthurm Alm and then to Gramai Alm - stopping at both for coffee and cake - before coming back down into Pertisau in heavy snow showers (see the extra).

And in cake related news: Strudel of the Day was Topfenstrudel (served at breakfast), followed by Linzertorte for elevenses, more Topfenstrudel at lunchtime, and chocolate cake as dessert with dinner.

In other cake related news: it has been suggested that I might want to consider giving up cake for the rest of Lent.
