Templenewsam House

is a Tudor-Jacobean house in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
The gardens were designed by capability brown. It has a long and fascinating history too long to put down here but can be found online.

Lovely grounds for dog walking, lakes and soon the rhododendrons will be out, a sight not to be missed. There is a Farm, ( when I was at school my friend, Joan, lived there as her dad ran the farm). Also a playground for little ones and a Go Ape area, up in the trees for older ones.

Made a lovely Bread and Butter Pudding today, haven't had one for ages and really enjoyed it. Also baked some Marmalade buns for Tanzy's Birthday which is tomorrow because she loves Marmalade buns.
