Misty roots, Derwentwater

We had a brief respite from the rain this morning whilst Deb was at work - as soon as she finished at lunchtime, the heavens opened again! - I took advantage and popped down to Derwentwater to get some pics. It was a little choppy, so the big stopper came out for all the photos.

The main pic is of tree roots that at lower water levels are halfway up the shore - they look so different with the water around them. The extra is looking down Derwentwater with some great sunbeams - a relatively short exposure (as I didn't want too much movement in the clouds, but still wanted the water slightly smoothed)
