Mono Month Challenge #28 Crime for Breakfast?

I've been reading this crime novel today as my Kindle Unlimited trial runs out tomorrow. I really enjoyed it, but I'm glad I hadn't read the opening pages when I was eating my porridge because it starts with a graphic crime scene!
