Winter or spring

Yesterday we had very windy, cold and snowy weather. Today it was sunshine from a blue sky, but still cold. The sun shone so lovely on the tall fir trees and the old yellow house and in the park a cherry tree blossomed. So I wonder, is it winter or spring?
