White irises

My large clump of white irises originated many years ago from one little piece of root dug out of the old village churchyard across the valley. They spread quite fast once established and smell really sweet.
Today was another nice sunny day, much better than forecast. We went back to Athens around midday, so I had time to get to the new film 'Emma' in the evening with a friend. We agreed that it's a really superb film in every way.
