Swelling Quince Buds

There are daffodils in bloom in our garden. And the buds are swelling on the quince. Spring is coming!

Edit: Oh! I forgot to mention - yesterday's mundane thing was a ficus tree that The Husband rescued last spring from a dumpster, we brought back to life, and then he for some totally unknown and completely irrational reason STUCK OUTSIDE when it was freezing while I was gone. He thought it needed more light. Erm. It is now doing a very credible imitation of dead. We'll see if there's any life left in the poor thing...
