Saw This Today

Arriving at Bluff

Down to Bluff, the southern most town of the South Island. Watched this big container ship sail past the beach.

Extras, 18958 km from home.
The giant chain symbolises the mythological anchor chain attaching the canoe of Maui (the South Island) to the anchor stone (Stewart Island, where there is a similar sculpture). It was created by Russell Beck.
Some more penguins, in the wild this time.
The south coast.
And one of the many charity shops I loved to look through, liked the man cave in this one.
