Or do I sing like a bird released?

R flies home to New Dehli tomorrow, so we thought we would try and let her see as much of Scotland as she could today.

We picked her up reasonably early and headed up the M77 to the M8, and across to Edinburgh.

Edinburgh did it's whole beautiful thing - the sky was blue and clouds were fluffy.  And the termperature was 2 degrees.

It didn't look like she had enough on  i tried to convince her to wear Simon's gloves and my scarf, but she insisted, "It is unrequired"

We tried to stop her calling Si "Sir". but she explained, "He is elder to me"  We told her that was nonsense.

We showed her where Si had proposed to me, and she loved that.... she asked how long we had been married.... and Si remembered... 29 years ago Tomorrow.   (I was only 14 when i got married).

pah ah ha ha ha

After Edinburgh - and we left just as the snow was starting and heading for the bridges.  We drove over the bridges, headed to Kincardine, drove over that bridge too and then over to the Kelpies.

R loved the kelpies - who wouldn't they are completely stunning.

Then we drove back down the road, looking over Glasgow, and then up the hill to the hotel.

And now I am collapsing.
