Poor critter

My father sent me this awful photo today. It is a long nosed bandicoot. My parents have them visiting their garden in Sydney in the middle of the night (it's 5acres and surrounded by bush land). I would sneak out most nights to spot them during my recent visit.
This little fella got into the small fenced dog yard where susie the fox terrier lives. And this is the result. :(
