Rhalia

We left this morning at 8.30am to drive to Thurso. It was raining very heavy and the roads were flooded and loads of surface water on them. The rain stopped about Perth and we went into Ballinluig for something to eat and a stretch of the legs. Onward to Inverness but a snow storm at Dalwhinnie . When we reached Inverness we had beautiful blue skies like a summers day. We stopped at Tain for a coffee and it was 8 degrees. On up through Golspie and Brora and a beautiful rainbow appeared. We arrived in Thurso at 4.30pm having driven for six hours doing 254 miles.
